I’m a collector of Pokémon and occasionally sports cards, and I’m always looking for ways to stretch my hobby budget. Recently I tried the current Fanatics welcome offer here in North Carolina, and it worked out exactly as described for me.
How I activated the offer (NC-specific steps I followed)
- I created a brand-new Fanatics account on Fanatics Sportsbook (existing accounts don’t qualify).
- I made the minimum deposit of $10.
- In the bet slip I toggled the special offer ON before placing the wager.
- I placed a single $5 bet at -500 odds or longer (I used a simple 3-leg NHL parlay, but even a simple moneyline bet would have qualified).
As soon as the bet was placed I received $100 FanCash instantly.
How the rest of the $400 FanCash works (what I’ve experienced so far)
The remaining FanCash is released $100 per day. Each day I log in and have to claim (click opt-in on the promotion). According to the terms, each daily $100 is supposed to expire in 24 hours, but I’ve seen collectors say Fanatics support told them it sticks around longer. I’m claiming mine within the 24 hours to stay safe (up to $200 overlap at a time as the next $100 releases on the day, but before the 24 hour period from the first one ends).
The part I’m most excited about — Fanatics Collectibles
FanCash can be spent directly in the Fanatics Collectibles section on Buy Now listings for graded Pokémon cards, sports cards, slabs, etc. I’ve already had offers accepted on a beautiful Journey Together Articuno 10 CGC, a Moltres Zapdos Articuno GX PSA 9 (stained glass), and I’m planning to grab a couple more CGC and PSA slabs over the next few days as the rest of the FanCash hits my account. (The same works for sports cards — tons of NFL, NBA, MLB slabs are available too. There are even a few comics) Note: Just remember if you are not keeping the cards in their vault you will need to pay shipping.
Final thoughts
The process was fairly straightforward for me and the FanCash showed up exactly as described. I’m genuinely excited to keep adding to my slab collection with it.
