Absolute Batman #13 just dropped (10/8/2025) and it’s a strong continuation of the Abomination arc. Catwoman’s full entry absolutely steals the show. Scott Snyder and Nic Dragotta are still killing it.
The Setup
We’re in the penultimate issue before the big finale. Batman is deep in the Abomination storyline while we get some great character moments and rising tension across the board.
The Cool (and Brutal) Parts
- Absolute Catwoman and Absolute Batman have some real lovey-dovey (and steamy) vibes going on 🐾🦇.
- Red Hood gets some solid interactions.
- Absolute Harley Quinn makes a key appearance that adds even more chaos.🤡
- Bane is expecting Batman to replace him once Joker releases him, but there’s doubt creeping in.
- Batman goes public and straight-up calls out Bane for a mano-a-mano showdown — that “I’m Batman” moment hits with real aura.
- Batman is already infused with venom, and Catwoman pushes back hard against him using it – can he win without it?
- We get some emotional flashbacks to Waylon (Killer Croc) and the fallout from their broken friendship.
- The issue ends with a great tease: Batman grabbing a cooler of meat to lure the new Croc Abomination — possible team-ups incoming?
This one is a bit less action-heavy and more of a calm-before-the-storm setup, but the pacing feels perfect after the brutal issues before it.
Final Verdict
Solid read all around. Catwoman’s entry, the character moments, and the building hype for the finale make this another winner in the Absolute Batman run. I’m fully hyped for next month’s showdown.
